Start with a specific moment
Choose one project or recurring responsibility. Write what was difficult, who it affected, and what needed to change. “Managed projects” is a category; explaining a delayed launch you helped get back on track gives you something concrete to write about.
Separate your contribution from the team’s
Describe the decisions you made and the work you personally did. It is fine to say you partnered with others. Use “led” only when you actually led, and distinguish an individual result from a company-wide outcome.
Add evidence you can stand behind
An outcome can be a shorter process, a successful delivery, fewer errors, or a clearer customer experience. Include a number only when you have a defensible source. When you do not have a metric, state the observable change plainly.
Make one point per bullet
A useful pattern is action, context, outcome. For example: “Reworked the support handoff checklist with the operations team, giving every open request a clear owner before shift change.” This illustrative example works without an invented percentage.
