How the layout works

The Essential uses smaller gaps between sections and entries, with a more compact name heading. It retains one content column and the same editable section structure as the other designs.

Make it yours

Fine-tune entry spacing and margins before lowering the body size. You can expand the default spacing when a shorter resume needs more room between ideas.

What to review

Use the readability warnings and page count to judge density. Avoid squeezing a long career onto one page at the expense of text size or clear separation between roles.

Preview and export

Switching designs preserves your resume content. Choose Letter or A4, review the page count, and check any layout warnings. PDF follows the preview’s layout rules. Word remains editable, but pagination can differ between word processors. Plain text and Markdown exports are also available with export access.

Downloads require an active paid subscription. See pricing and plan details. No template guarantees compatibility with every hiring system; follow the employer’s requested file format.
